The health, safety, and well-being of our clients and staff is our top priority at all times. With the recent announcement regarding Step 1 of the province’s Roadmap to Re-Open Plan, STRIDE has moved forward with a cautious re-opening plan and we will continue to follow strict health & safety measures to ensure we protect the health and safety of staff, clients and visitors.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and following advice from local and provincial health authorities, STRIDE continues to provide services using email, phone, text, and video conferencing. In-person services are by appointment only and will be offered when they cannot be conducted virtually and there is an essential need.

STRIDE Has Officially Expanded into Peel

STRIDE is proud to announce that we have officially expanded our services into Peel Region under the new Employment Services transformation.  Annastacia, Carly and the STRIDE team look forward to helping you reach your employment goals!

On January 28^th for Bell Let’s Talk STRIDE went live on Facebook.  Our Guest Speakers: Crystal Dainard, Janet Behrens, Matthew Wadlin and Nicole Frost all employees of STRIDE spoke about their experiences and answered questions on mental health.

A Message to Our Community – November 20, 2020

As the Province of Ontario continues to modify their framework which informs organizations and businesses regarding the level of activities and operations they can safely offer during the Covid-19 pandemic, we at STRIDE remain committed to supporting our community and keeping our partners and supporters informed about our services. While we continue to provide virtual and modified services using email, phone, text, and video conferencing, we have also begun a gradual re-opening of our locations to be able to support clients virtually or in-person.

We are pleased to share that STRIDE has been accepted to participate in the GIVEOakville Campaign. The program runs from November 2^nd to December 15, 2020.

Designed as a crowd-funding tool, GIVEOakville is an online giving platform that has been provided by our local community foundation, the Oakville Community Foundation, free of charge. STRIDE’s project, Stress Survival Kits for Clients, is one of the selected projects that The Foundation is seeking to help fund.

STRIDE & B4UW

Bike For United Way (B4UW) stopped by STRIDE on Friday, September 18th for an outdoor socially distanced visit. The purpose of this ride is to raise money while being able to learn how United Way funding changes people’s lives, we took this opportunity to discuss our programs and services as well as expressed the appreciation we have towards United Way for providing funding to STRIDE.
